Revolution Mystery Bag

I recently placed an order with Superdrug to replenish my much loved Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer. I noticed that if I spent £20 on Revolution makeup I would receive a free Revolution mystery bag, so how could I resist?? I ended up adding FOUR concealers to my basket, along with a hydrating under eye primer (I was really curious to try this out). If you’d like to know what I received in my mystery bag then keep on reading.

Renaissance Lip Liner – Prime (£4.00)

Lip Liner

The first item I pulled out of the mystery bag was this dark brown/nude lip liner. I love a deeper nude lip combo, light nudes tend to make me appear a little washed out, so I was thrilled to receive this chocolaty nude liner. This looks as though it will pair well with a couple of my lipsticks, or even on it’s own with a gloss over the top.

Soph Nude Lipstick – Fudge & Syrup (£4.00 each)

Shade – Syrup

The bag contained another two lip products, lipsticks from the SophXRevolution collection, I received the shades Syrup and Fudge. Although both very similar in colour, fudge appears to be slightly darker than Syrup. I love both shades and have already worn Syrup a couple of times. Personally I think it’s very similar to Mac Velvet Teddy, but obviously a lot cheaper! It was a comfortable creamy matte formula that didn’t make lips appear dry or cracked, it lasted well when I was eating and drinking too.

Re-Loaded Basic Mattes Palette

Lets put it this way, I wasn’t expecting to receive an eyeshadow palette in this mystery bag, but to my surprise, that’s exactly what I got! Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find this palette anywhere on the Superdrug site, so I couldn’t include the price for this one. Typically these retail for around £5.00. I love the colour scheme of these eyeshadows, they are just so me! It has an array of warm shadows, with a few cooler toned browns in there too. I can’t wait to play around with the shades to create an all matte look, or even mix with with other palettes in my collection.

Do you have any of the products mentioned here, or do you have a favourite Revolution product that I should consider looking at? Let me know in the comments 😊.

Until Another Day x
