Makeup and Skincare Wishlist | Part 2

A few months ago I posted about a few of the products on my makeup and skincare wishlist. This list is ever-growing, so naturally I have added more items that I’d love to get my hands on. By no means do I need any of the products I am going to mention, but I absolutely want them in my life! I mean a girl can never have too much makeup…am I right?

Makeup

Nars Laguna Bronzer – £30.00

A bronzer which has been a cult favourite for so long, but one which I have never had in my collection. TBH the price has kind of always put me off picking it up, however everyone raves about it across the beauty community, so of course I want to put it all over my face!

Charlotte Tillbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Powder – £35.00

Another luxury product which I have heard so many amazing things about. I have oily skin and suffer with enlarged pores in my t-zone, and this powder promises to have a smoothing/bluring effect on the skin. I have seen this powder in action in countless YouTube videos, and it instantly brightens and mattifies.

Skincare

Pixi BeautifEYE Eye Patches – £22.00

I have dark under eyes and no matter how much sleep I get, or which undereye cream I apply, I can’t seem to make them any less visible. These under eye patches by Pixi claim to instantly brighten the eye area, something which I am all for!

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask – £21.00

Fresh skincare products are not something I have ever tried before, but their Youth Mask is one that has stood out to me. It is supposed to revitalise dull and tired skin in as little as five minutes, something which my skin definitely needs in the morning. I love including face masks into my skincare routine, I also have a post dedicated to the best face masks for oily skin.

Tanologist Self-Tan Drops Medium – £14.99

Having naturally very fair skin means that the sun isn’t my friend, I burn to a crisp at the slightest exposure to its rays (take a look at my recent post when I visited Cornwall for the evidence). That is why I prefer to use fake tan or gradual tanning products. These Self-Tan Drops by Tanoligist look fantastic, mix a few drops into your moisturiser and have a glowy tanned complexion a few hours later. I really want to try these out!

Skincare: The Ultimate No-Nonsense Guide – £20.00

Although not exactly a beauty product, I have heard almost every blogger mention this holy grail skincare bible. During lockdown I have hardly worn makeup and have concentrated on getting my skin in better condition, so I think this book would be perfect in helping me along the way!

My list is on the small side this time around, but there hasn’t been a bunch of new launches which I’ve been dying to get hold of. For the most part, these products have circulated within the beauty community for quite some time now, and it’s only until recently I decided to add them to my list. Have you tried any of the beauty products I have mentioned, I’d love to hear from you.

Until Another Day x

  1. This is such a great wish list of makeup and skincare items. I always have a wish list going and I try to hold off on spending too much but sometimes I just can’t resist a good makeup item!!

  2. You will LOVE the Laguna bronzer, if you get a chance to purchase it. I had it in a duo with the Orgasm blush when it first came on the scene, and it really does live up to the hype. It’s a beautiful bronzer with a fantastic formula!

  3. The Laguna bronzer somehow never worked for my skin tone. I got a bronzer from Becca instead, and I absolutely love it.

I’ve tried a few Fresh products before, but for the price, I don’t think the results are worth it unfortunately. Like, they are good products, but if I am paying as much, I want better, noticeable results.

And I am also really keen to get my hands on the Caroline Hirons book.
