Questions from That Happy Reader

What is your favourite ice cream flavour?

Ooo this is a tricky one, I love so many different flavours, so I’m going to cheat slightly and list two. I’m obsessed with Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie, just thinking about it is making my mouth water 🤤. My second favourite would have to be Strawberry and Clotted Cream, any ice cream that contains Clotted Cream is superior in my opinion.

Where is your favourite place you’ve travelled to?

Hands down New York. I visited in September 2017 with my boyfriend for my 21st Birthday present from my parents. It was the most surreal and amazing place, I loved visiting all of the main attractions including: The Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, The Rockerfella Center and Ground Zero. I would love to go back and explore even more of the amazing city.

What is your favourite season of the year?

Spring! I love it when the weather starts to get a little warmer and blossom begins to appear on the trees, everywhere looks so pretty. I’m not a fan of really hot or really cold weather, so Spring is the perfect temperature for me.

How far ahead do you prepare your blog posts?

Probably only about a week or two ahead. I have plenty of post ideas saved into my drafts, but it really depends on how busy I am in my day to day job, as to whether I have the time or energy to plan in advance.

Your favourite music artist or band?

Growing up I was obsessed with One Direction, I even had a fan Twitter account dedicated to them! Now I love Harry Styles’ solo work and have tickets to see him on his tour. Another favourite artist of mine lately is Miley Cyrus, have you heard her song with Stevie Nicks (Edge of Midnight) it’s incredible!

Your favourite Christmas or Holiday treat?

Mince Pies are a perfect festive treat, I love spotting the first signs of them in the shops. Pigs in blankets are another favourite of mine, it’s not a Christmas dinner without them!

What’s the name of your favourite chocolate or candy?

Another difficult one, my favourite candy would have to be Sour Patch kids, the blue ones are the best. As for chocolate, lately it has been Milky Bar, I have been obsessed with white chocolate over the past few weeks.

Who is your favourite author?

Matt Haig has some incredible books, How to Stop Time and Reasons to Stay Alive are the two I have read. I would love to get my hands on The Humans it sounds like such an intriguing story.

What is your favourite movie or tv show?

I have watched quite a few shows that I love so I’m going to list them all for you. Power, How to Get Away with Murder and Gossip Girl are three of my faves.

If you could re-live one year of your life, when would that be and why?

2017 without a doubt. It was the first full year with my boyfriend and we went on some amazing adventures together. We travelled to Amsterdam, Berlin and New York, and it was also the year I turned 21, so plenty of celebrations took place. I was also made a permanent employee at my current job after completing a 2 year apprenticeship. 2017 was one of the best years of my life so far.

What is your favourite beverage?

Non-alcoholic would be Pepsi Max, Pepsi is wayyyyy better than Coke. Alcoholic drink would be Gin or a cocktail from Revolution called Gin & Juice, it’s delicious!

I love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, but in Denmark it’s so expensive.

I have never had mince pie before, but they look so good!

    1. Thank you so much! It’s quite expensive in the UK too so I don’t have it often. New York was amazing, I’d definitely love to visit again! I love Fall, or autumn as we call it here too, but I’m not a fan of the cold haha! x
