Last year, I was lucky enough to partner with PMD Beauty to test out there Personal Microderm device, which I am now fully obsessed with! Recently, PMD asked if I wanted to work them again to try out their Clean Body, which of course, I couldn’t turn down.
The PMD Clean Body has been a popular skincare device in the blogging community for so long now, and I can fully see why. The device has four different vibration settings and comes with magnetic interchangeable heads, depending on your skincare needs.
Magnetic Attachments
Cleanse
The cleanse setting is equipped with soft silicone bristles which gently cleanse the entire body. The bristles are anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic and odour resistant. Personally, I’ve used the cleanse setting on my face to give myself a mini facial, using the lowest vibration. I found it to be very gentle and my skin felt cleaner than ever after use. If you’d prefer a skincare device specific to your face, why not try the PMD Clean instead.
Gentle Exfoliation
The Silver Infused Loofah is anti-bacterial and exfoliates the skin without spreading bacteria. This head is perfect for an all-over body cleanse, I’d suggest switching up the vibration settings for a luxurious and relaxing shower. The Silverscrub lathers up shower gel nicely and isn’t harsh on the skin at all.

Intense Exfoliation
I LOVE this attachment! It’s definitely an intense exfoliation, but leaves my skin super soft whenever I use it. It isn’t something I would use daily, maybe once or twice per week. I can get dry skin and small bumps on my arms and legs (Keratosis Pilaris), and the intense exfoliation attachment helped to smooth out my skin. This is also perfect to use during a pedicure to remove any hard callous skin from the feet.
Massage
Using the PMD Clean Body is pretty sensual anyway, but the Relax Body Massager Head will leave you in a state of blissful relaxation. The massager can be used in the shower, and with moisturiser or body oil! The handle is long enough to massage your entire back. It is particularly nice to use after a workout, as it helps to relieve tight muscles.
The Review
Despite being expensive (retailing for £145), the PMD Clean Body is definitely a great investment, once you start using it, you will be hooked from the get go. The device is chargeable and takes around 3hrs for a full charge. A charging USB cable is supplied, and can be inserted into bottom of the device.

Of course the Clean Body is completely waterproof so can be used in the bath or shower, without fear of damage (or electricution). Not only can it be used in water, but can be used dry, to massage the skin or with moisturiser, as mentioned earlier.
I adore finding new ways to improve my self care routine, the PMD Clean Body is the perfect bodycare device to use when winding down of an evening. Not only does it give you squeaky clean skin, but helps aid relaxtion. I’m dying to run myself a warm bubble bath, read a book and use the Clean Body for a super chilled bedtime routine.

Great review! I hadn’t heard of this product before but it looks fab – I’m not sure I’m a position to buy it at the moment due to the price, but I’ll definitely be considering it in the future! Thanks for sharing x

The products are worth their weight in gold but just costly for the average. However, cleanness is indeed vital. Cheers!

All of this sounds really good (something that actually does what it’s meant to do) but the price just counts me out. I like the design and the thought behind it — hopefully, the price point can be improved for a wider consumer base. Fab review!

Love that this is such a handy tool for exfoliation and that it has two settings, depending on your skin need. That it can be used in the shower too is a plus because nothing is better than stepping onto the mat feeling truly clean.
Thanks for sharing!
